Where the work begins
Therapy is not about fixing what is broken. It is about returning to yourself — with more understanding, more room, and a little more ease.
Individual & Relationship therapy
We offer individual, couples, and other relationship forms, therapy for adults navigating a wide range of difficulties — from acute distress to the quieter, harder-to-name experiences that accumulate over time. Sessions are 50 minutes and typically held weekly, though the rhythm is always shaped by what you need.
Integrative therapeutic approaches draw on cognitive-behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, process-based therapy, person-centred therapy and others. These approaches are filtered through existential, feminist, and sex-positive frameworks. Rather than applying a single method, we work collaboratively to find what fits — attending to both the patterns that keep you stuck and the strengths that have carried you this far.
Areas of focus
Each person arrives with their own history. The following areas reflect the kinds of difficulties we work with most often — though the work is always shaped by the whole person, not a category.
Anxiety & stress
Anxiety is one of the most common reasons people seek therapy — and one of the most treatable. Whether you are dealing with persistent worry, panic, social anxiety, or the kind of low-grade tension that never quite lifts, therapy can help you understand what is driving it and find steadier ground.
Depression & mood
Depression can look like sadness, but it often shows up as flatness, disconnection, or a quiet withdrawal from the things that once mattered. We work to understand what has shifted, reconnect with meaning and energy, and gently rebuild a relationship with yourself.
Life transitions
Endings and beginnings — career changes, relationship shifts, loss, becoming a parent, leaving a long chapter behind. Transitions ask us to grieve what was and imagine what might be. Therapy offers a place to do both, without rushing either.
Relationship & identity
Questions about who you are, how you relate to others, and what you want from your closest relationships are among the most important — and most difficult — a person can sit with. This work is exploratory, patient, and deeply personal.
Human sexuality
A thoughtful, non-judgmental space to explore questions of desire, intimacy, and sexual wellbeing. We work with people across the full spectrum of sexual and relational experience. Queer, kink, and poly affirming.
